Looniee pricing: Free, or Plus for the whole household
Looniee is free for one person with up to 3 accounts, 10 holdings and 500 transactions, with no card and no time limit. Looniee Plus costs CA$9 a month, or CA$72 a year (CA$6 a month, billed yearly), and removes the caps, tracks up to 6 people, and adds the analysis tools. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

The free plan is a complete tracker for a starter portfolio: every tracking feature works, and the caps are on how much you track, not on what the tracker does. Plus is for a larger portfolio, a household, or the analysis layer.
What happens at a free-plan cap
Hitting a cap blocks the next new record only. Nothing is deleted or hidden, and you can still edit, delete and export. If an import would go over a cap, Looniee saves what fits and tells you what was left out.
Monthly or yearly
- Monthly: CA$9, charged every month.
- Yearly: CA$72, charged once a year. That works out to CA$6 a month, 33% less than paying monthly, but it is paid as one yearly charge.
Both renew automatically until you cancel.
The free trial
First-time subscribers get a 3-day free trial of Plus. A card is needed to start it. We email you the date of the first charge, and if you don't cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the first charge is taken that day. One trial per person.
Cancelling, refunds and downgrading
- Cancel in one step from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription. Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: cancelling stops future charges. If you were charged in error, charged after cancelling, or didn't use the period, email hello@looniee.ca within 30 days and it is refunded.
- Downgrading never deletes data. Plus-only views close, a multi-person household shows as one person, and everything returns if you subscribe again.
AI usage on Plus
Ask Looniee answers from your real holdings, within a monthly AI allowance included with Plus. If you use it up, you can buy a one-time AI Boost pack, or wait for next month. AI answers are information, not financial advice. Screenshot reading during import is separate, free, and available on every plan.
What no plan does
- No bank or brokerage connection. Account activity is not synced. After the first import you add new trades yourself or import a newer file. Market prices still update automatically.
- No Canadian data residency. In an encrypted PostgreSQL database (Neon), with hosting on Vercel and sign-in by Clerk. These providers may store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
- No shared logins. Household tracking happens under one login; there are no invitations or per-person permissions.
